This interactive tool includes data collected by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) through
the Building Assessment Survey and Evaluation (BASE) study. The database includes indoor and outdoor volatile organic compound (VOC) levels from representative public and commercial office buildings across the U.S. The database is presented as a statistical summary of the results. The original summarized data from the BASE study can be downloaded
here.
Using this tool, you can:
- Learn which VOCs are typically detected indoors in business settings.
- Learn about VOC levels in indoor and outdoor environments.
